a bit about me
I am eclectic and light-hearted. Multi-skilled and multi-passionate. As a result, the spectrum of my work experiences and skills make me a versatile asset to deploy on any business operations or product development support team. And in memory of my core family members pictured here, I am committed to show up to be and do my best. I was caregiver to them before they all, suddenly, transitioned in mid-late 2021. That experience gutted me. It has further inspired how I show up in the world, prayerfully, with humility, gratitude, and Light. Lastly, I am a proud Summa Cum Laude graduate of East Carolina University’s University Studies Program with a concentration in B.S. Business Systems Support (2022).
Hi! I’m Latisha
Versatile Late Bloomer
I am a late bloomer to discovering what I do well and for what degree I should have pursued when I first entered college. Sort of like the iterations required to achieve good design, my career journey has been a series of valuable iterations. From administrative and accounting support, to real estate investment sales, to product design support–these experiences prove agile learning and adaptability which adds value to any team in today’s changing marketplace. In addition, my ongoing self-learning is driven by interest in all things software product development. The spectrum of my work experience align with operations or project support roles in the fintech, blockchain, or real estate industries.
Finally, my past work, academic, and self-study experiences enable me to empathize and, effectively, communicate with users, engineering and design teams, and business stakeholders, comfortably. Speaking of late bloomer, in 2022, I kept a promise to myself to finish my college degree. Below is the commencement speech program advisors at my alma mater asked me to deliver to my program’s 2024 graduating class.
