I am eclectic and light-hearted. Multi-skilled and multi-passionate. And in memory of my core family members pictured here, I am committed to show up to be and do my best. I was caregiver to them before they all, suddenly, transitioned in mid-late 2021. That experience gutted me. It has further inspired how I show up in the world, prayerfully, with humility, gratitude, and Light. Lastly, I am a proud summa cum laude graduate of East Carolina University’s University Studies Program with a concentration in B.S. Business Systems (2022).

I’m a late bloomer to discovering my strengths and career interests. Like good design, my career path has been a series of valuable iterations. My diverse background gives me uncommon range: I understand the fundamentals of business, people, system workflows, financial controls, and risk.
My experience at Ripple plus my personal digital asset investing experience has strengthened my interest in all things fintech, particularly, regulatory compliance. Since my layoff in 2024, I’ve been driving Lyft while taking continuing education courses in fintech compliance, SQL, data analytics, and pursuing fintech compliance or adjacent roles. A little know fact is I am working on improving public speaking skill. Below is a 2024 commencement speech I gave at my Alma Mater.
