I am eclectic and light-hearted. Multi-skilled and multi-passionate. And in memory of my core family members pictured here, I am committed to show up to be and do my best. I was caregiver to them before they all, suddenly, transitioned in mid-late 2021. That experience gutted me. It has further inspired how I show up in the world, prayerfully, with humility, gratitude, and Light. Lastly, I am a proud summa cum laude graduate of East Carolina University’s University Studies Program with a concentration in B.S. Business Systems (2022).
Hi! I’m Latisha
I’ve solved operational problems inside regulated environments for over 15 years — whether that meant reviewing fraud claims and transaction activity in banking, reconciling accounts payable in a foreclosure-processing pipeline, onboarding new hires for a global manufacturer, or building vendor onboarding, documentation, or project workflows at a blockchain payments company. My career didn’t move in a straight line, but every iteration sharpened the same skill: operational problem solving — spotting a problem and designing a customized process to solve or improve it.
I’ve been a digital asset investor since 2017, which put Ripple on my radar long before I worked there. I saw a company positioned at the center of the new global financial infrastructure that the GENIUS and CLARITY Acts are now making possible. I follow legistative developments in the industry, closely.
Since my layoff from Ripple in 2024, I’ve been optimizing the transition — driving Lyft for flexible income while studying trends in digital asset markets, legislation and compliance, utility tokens, and running for NC House of Representatives, District 18 in 2026.
A little-known fact: I’m working on improving my public speaking. Below is a commencement speech I gave at my alma mater in 2024.
